Grace is a certified early childhood teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Teaching from James Madison University. She has highly specialized training in early literacy through LETRS, as well as Conscious Discipline and Reggio Emilia-inspired practices. She believes children learn best through meaningful relationships, play, curiosity, and hands-on experiences.
Grace’s approach to curriculum development starts with the children—their interests, developmental needs, questions, and unique ways of learning. She intentionally designs playful, engaging experiences around meaningful learning goals while leaving plenty of room for children to explore, make choices, and follow their curiosity. She believes curriculum should be responsive and evolve based on what children are excited about and discovering.
At Kinry, Grace especially loves creating experiences that spark children’s curiosity, creativity, and joy while supporting their development in meaningful ways. She loves getting to know each child and creating an environment where they feel welcomed, valued, and excited to participate. Grace is proud to be part of a community that supports the whole family, creating a space where children can learn, play, and build connections while parents and families also feel connected, supported, and welcomed.
Hello, my name is Lilynn! I joined Kinry to pursue my passion of helping young minds grow into confident and capable human beings, while also being drawn in by the club’s unique approach at supporting families with their growing needs as a unit. My personal career ambition is to work with children, adolescents, and young adults in the therapeutic setting as a counselor which is why I am pursuing my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in the children and adolescent population. My favorite thing to do at the club is supporting our children in their creative expression through art activities. When I am not at the club, I’m pursuing my hobbies like reading, photography, art, and making coffee!
Hi, my name is Victoria! I joined Kinry because I love working with children and being part of a community where families feel welcomed, supported, and cared for. One of my favorite things about Kinry is the family-focused environment and the opportunity to build relationships with both the children and their families. I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree in Education. Outside of Kinry, I love baking, volunteering at my church, and exploring new places around Charleston with my husband and friends!
I joined Kinry in support of the continuous transmission of peace, love and wellness among little ones with working parents. My background includes teaching elementary physical education, and also as a kids yoga teacher. At the club I enjoy engaging in play with the kids and being silly. I am also known as the baby whisperer at Kinry and love nurturing babies. Outside the club, you’ll find me cruising around on my bike, practicing surfing, or learning to read Sanskrit!
