USE of Kinry Club property and services is limited to our posted regular operating hours and dates, which may be, in our sole discretion, revised from time to time. You understand that, from time to time, access may be restricted for private events hosted by other Members or guests. Kinry Club and its management shall make every reasonable effort to provide advance notice to all members via email of the dates and times during which access and the privilege of use may be restricted.
MEMBERS shall have all the rights and privileges, including access to facilities, programs, and services during regular hours of operation, except during private events or partial space shutdowns. Members will be accorded the benefits and discounts outlined in the Membership application. Membership shall not, under any circumstances, be construed as or interpreted to mean ownership, fractional or otherwise, of Kinry Club assets. The benefits outlined herein may be revised or amended by Kinry Club from time to time.
MEMBERSHIP DUES & RATES. Monthly Membership Dues & rates are subject to change. However, any adjustments made shall be effective upon renewal only and shall not adjust, diminish, or remove privileges until renewal. Discounts may be offered for an annual subscription. Please inquire by emailing hi@kinryclub.com. Please note that if an ACH is not applied, a 4% transaction fee will be automatically added to all transactions. A $42/monthly administrative fee will be applied to the card on file.
TRIAL TERMS. If you are purchasing a trial, welcome, we are so glad to host you! Note that trials must be used within 7 days of purchase. At the end of your trial, for ease and a seamless experience, you will automatically roll into membership. No action required on your side, our team will take care of all administrative tasks for your convenience. Membership terms and conditions will apply and take effect. If the club membership isn't the right fit for your family, simply let our team know at the end of your trial day. Otherwise, your membership will be active immediately and your family can begin using the club.
PAYMENTS for membership are made via our membership software, Sawyer or Stripe. Birthday Parties, events, and other add-ons may be invoiced through Stripe, ACH, Sawyer or another form of credit card payment. Members are required to keep two forms of payment on file and pay membership dues using ACH and backup credit card on file. Should members want to pay with a credit card, any transaction fees passed along by card merchants will be passed along to the member (4% transaction fee). We may migrate to new services and software; you authorize us to migrate your account.
TERM. The first term of membership is 6 months. Thereafter, the term will automatically follow the current membership price, plan, and term at the end of the initial membership term, unless you, the member, opt out in writing to hi@kinryclub.com 30 days before the end of the current term. Membership will automatically renew, in perpetuity, unless a cancellation notice is received at least 30 days before the end of the term. Renewals will automatically follow the price, plan, and term at the time of renewal. Kinry does not allow pausing of membership.
REGISTRATION. All members will need to complete a registration process, providing necessary contact information and emergency contacts, a signed waiver, and details about their child/ren.
CANCELLATION POLICY. We ask all members to take note of our cancellation policies:
CARE CANCELLATIONS. Cancellation or modifications for care: in order to ensure smooth operations of our club, here is our policy for childcare.
OFFICE RESERVATION. Offices are reservable for $5/hour, pricing subject to change. Office use before 8:30 AM and after 5:00 PM is unlimited and complimentary. Offices may be reserved for up to four hours at a time. If no one is waiting for the office, members may extend their reservation. Your reservation charges will be automatically charged to your card on file. Office reservations can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance for a refund (minus transaction fees + a $5 administration fee).
PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS. Classes, events, and care are subject to a full charge cancellation and/or change policy at the sole discretion of Kinry Club. Fees can generally be waived if you provide a 72-hour notice. Camps are non-refundable.
KEY CODES. Every member will receive a Household key code, which is used to enter the play space. The Card is linked to your membership profile only and does not carry any financial data. You may be asked to produce your card at any time to verify membership.
Key code numbers are not transferable beyond the household.
ACCESS HOURS. Kinry Club is accessible to members every day of the week by using their code. Members are not permitted to open the door for another member or passerby under any circumstances for everyone's safety and security.
Space closures include Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Year's Day, and pre-announced weekly deep cleaning days where the space will be closed for a few hours.
The club reserves the right to have closures for private events throughout the year. We will typically keep closures to about 2-3 hours and commonly on weekends.
GUESTS. Member benefits may include guest passes for a month (as outlined in the plan), and by emailing hi@kinryclub.com with guest details such as name, age, and email, so that a waiver can be sent before they arrive. Guests cannot come on-site until waivers and personal information are received. We do this to ensure the safety of our guests and members.
SNACKS & FOOD. Beverages and snacks are available to members for purchase. We kindly ask that you do not bring in products that are offered within our coffee and snack bar. We kindly ask for members to tidy up behind themselves. We are a nut-free facility. Due to the frequency of nut allergies, please check ingredients for nuts and nut products before bringing in food, and refrain from bringing foods with nuts.
CHILDREN & INFANTS. All children are to remain under the direct supervision of, and are the sole responsibility of, their adult custodians unless in our team's direct care during a booked care session. At no time during open play sessions will any Kinry Club Team Member, Employee, Vendor, or Staff Member be responsible for the supervision of or accept temporary custody for infants or minor children. Parents must respect the peaceful enjoyment of other guests and members of Kinry Club and adhere to Kinry Club rules governing children's access to the public areas, amenities, and landscape.
CHILDCARE is a benefit offered to members only, whereby Kinry Club team members play and engage their children while caregivers/parents remain on premises, for up to 1 hour. This is based on the availability of our play guides and staff, and it is not guaranteed without reservations.
AGE & SUPERVISION. Children aged 0-7 years may use the play space. Equipment is not designed for children over the age of 7, due to weight limits; therefore, any broken equipment will be billed to the customer.
We require that children be supervised by adults at all times if not enrolled in care or supervised play. This will be enforced. Kinry Club staff will not provide child care unless it is for a scheduled program or stay and play. Please note, caregivers must be within arm's reach of children, especially when walking outside of the padded play areas. Caregivers assume responsibility for their child's safety while on-site. Children cannot be out of range or sight to ensure safety. We take this very seriously!
For children and parents with special/additional needs, we have wheelchair accessibility, noise canceling for sensory sensitivities, and earplugs for grown-ups.
Non-walking children have a space in our secondary area for children 2 and under.
CODE OF CONDUCT. Each member is expected to respect the play space, from the physical space to the toys & equipment, respect for staff, other members, and the play space itself will be required. Staff members may occasionally need to address issues such as noise levels, cleanliness, and proper equipment use. Staff may also call attention to parents and caregivers when their children are in need of their support. We kindly request to tidy any areas you utilize.
NON-SOLICITATION. Members agree and are not permitted to solicit any of the Kinry Club staff for additional services. This includes, but is not limited to, part-time/full-time babysitting, nannying services, house manager, or any other forms of employment, both inside and outside of the Kinry Club premises.
PLACEMENT FEE. Should a member of our staff be privately employed by a club member, you, the member, agree to pay a placement fee of $3,000, which is commensurate with typical recruitment fees. By agreeing to this waiver, you agree that Kinry Club will automatically apply this charge to your payment methods.
SAFETY. For safety & security purposes, security cameras can be found in the space that only the Kinry Club has private access to. At no time under any circumstances should Members open the doors to the public; entry is keycode-accessed, and Members must use their keycode to enter at all times. This is for the safety & security of Kinry Club families and children.
In case of accidents or emergencies, please dial 911. For accidents and other non-emergency instances, please notify Kinry Club by phone or text at 843-284-6275.
HYGIENE & CLEANLINESS. Rules for the space include taking off footwear, wearing grip socks, also cleaning and sanitization. As a shared community space, we uphold cleanliness and expect each individual member to clean up after themselves. Please refrain from bringing your children dressed in clothing with glitter/sequins as it may create hazardous items in the space. A deep cleaning fee may be applied.
To ensure a safe and healthy play environment for all families, please refrain from visiting if your child is ill (i.e., severe cough, runny nose, fever). Staff may ask you to leave and come back when your child's symptoms subside. We ask our membership community to practice sound judgment as it relates to sickness to avoid spreading throughout the community and closure.
MEMBERSHIP SUSPENSION & TERMINATION. Kinry Club holds the right to temporarily suspend or terminate memberships, such as repeated rule violations, sexual harassment, bullying, violence, inappropriate language, etc. Members and guests can bring any concerns of violation to Kinry Club staff directly and/or email hi@kinryclub.com.
COMMUNICATION CHANNELS. Members can reach Kinry Club via 3 channels: email hi@kinryclub.com, phone/text at 843-284-6275, and DM on social media, to share feedback or report issues.
SOCIAL MEDIA. On occasion, Kinry Club may post content from the space to its social media account or include it in promotional materials. If you want to be omitted from social media and other promotional materials, please let us know in your Sawyer profile. Members may not post images of other families and children in the space without prior approval from other members.
PRIVACY POLICY. We keep member data confidential with appropriate approvals for photo waiver and marketing campaigns protected in compliance with relevant data protection laws.
CHANGES TO POLICIES. Kinry Club reserves the right to update membership policies and inform members in advance of any changes.
I agree to adhere to these policies, terms, and conditions by accepting this agreement.
I, on my own behalf and as the parent(s)/legal guardian(s) of my minor Participants, for good and valuable consideration, which includes, but is not limited to, the right to be on or in and to utilize the facilities located at the property commonly known as Kinry Club, located at 832 COLEMAN BLVD, Charleston, SC 29464 (the "Facility") and to participate in events being held at such Facility, agrees to the following terms and conditions of this Release, Waiver, Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement ("Agreement"):
I AM AWARE THAT I AM RELEASING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS THAT I, AND/OR MY CHILD, MAY OTHERWISE HAVE INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE OR CLAIM COMPENSATION BY AGREEING AND PURCHASING THIS MEMBERSHIP, TRIAL, OR ANY SERVICES/PRODUCTS OFFERED BY KINRY.
